About me…
My name is LaShire Diegue, M.D., FAPA, DipABLM. I have been a psychiatrist since 2013. I am originally from NJ where I worked in federally qualified health care centers and community mental health clinics before moving to Maryland in 2017. I spent 6 years working embedded in a primary care clinic at University of Maryland-Baltimore Washington Medical Center before going into private practice in 2023. In my various places of employment, I worked with patients from various walks of life, from those who were homeless to those who were wealthy. How I treated all of them was always and has always been the same—with dignity, with respect and with a dedication to help them get to where they want to be. However, I felt something was missing. I wanted to do more than just treat mental illness. I wanted to help people embrace mental wellness as well. I hope that should you choose to work with me that I can help you become the “total you” that you have been longing for.
